This heat alarm has been designed to warn of fire presence in small area where it is not suitable to install smoke alarms, such as in Caravans & Motorhomes. The thermal heat alarm does not activate to smoke presence, the alarm is triggered when a dramatic increase in room temperature is sensed. This means it wont be triggered when cooking your toast in the morning.
