Refund policy

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 7 days from the date of your order by either phoning 0800 704 944 during normal business hours (Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm, Saturday 8.30am - 12.00 noon), or by email to info@gipsy.co.nz.  We can then discuss the reason you are not satisfied and take appropriate action.

If you have simply changed your mind regarding your purchase, we will only accept its return provided the item/s are unused and returned in the original condition and packaging, including any instruction manuals, documentation, invoice and/or receipt. There are no returns on electrical items, items ordered in specifically or items cut to measure such as window rubber etc. Return of your purchase will be at your cost and when calculating the refund the initial freight cost and a 10% restocking fee will be deducted.  If your purchase was sent to you with free delivery the actual delivery cost will be deducted from your refund.

If goods arrive damaged via courier it is essential that you advise us immediately and in any event within 24 hours of delivery. This includes items that are left at a premises without a signature required. Failure to do this will void any claim you have against us or the carrier.

If the product/s are faulty we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act to provide a remedy.  Upon receipt of the faulty item it will be forwarded to our supplier where a decision will be made regarding the repair or replacement of the item within its specified warranty period. For a warranty on gas or electrical parts we require proof that a registered, certified gas fitter or electrician has completed the installation. Should the item be returned to us and a fault or damage is found to have been caused by (but not exclusively to) faulty installation, misuse or abuse no liability to repair, replace or refund shall exist on the part of Gipsy Caravans Levin.
